Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support

One of the most important things we do here at the Law Offices of Michelle R. Hubrich is to listen.  We listen to your concerns, questions and detailed background information. This is because listening is the first step in determining which legal advice and strategy should be given based on your unique circumstances.

There are 5 grounds for divorce in South Carolina: 1. Desertion 2. Adultery  3. Habitual Drunkenness 4. Physical Cruelty, and 5. Living separate and apart for at least one year.  Couples cannot divorce just because they both desire it.  There must be legal grounds for it.  Come talk to us about how to achieve this and the collateral issues that accompany it.  We will closely consult with you, petition the court, and advocate for you to alleviate the burden of this stressful time.

Once you are divorced, there are instances where it's a good idea to revisit child custody and child support.  Come talk to us about when the change in circumstances supports a modification of your court order.
